As per a report, elderly people living in different cities of America were at a risk of facing poor transportation facility in their area. With the increase in population and growth in the life-expectancy rate, the population of people of elderly people, were liable to increase and on the other hand the government was unable to meet the transportation facility to the people of various region properly.
As per the data, around than 15.5 million seniors, aged 65 to 79 will be facing poor transportation facility by 2015. Many regions at the periphery and near the borders since the beginning did not have an access to a well-defined transportation system and the ones who did not drive would be at a complete loss.
The deterioration in the quality of transportation will affect the lives of elderly people to a great extent; the consequences could be the extreme limit of even deaths.
