Tour of California

Tour of California considered as the biggest race in the US has been moved to May from February due to better weather in May.

For so many years the TOC was scheduled in February but now it has been moved to May to make better use of the high mountains of California for the race and thus get the cool factor required to make it stick.

After so many alterations, the TOC is still looking place under the sun. The event is hoping to be a great success in California and American sports worlds.

The racing was begin on Sunday around Lake Tahoe but then cancelled, later on Monday was shortened so much (from 214km to 123, or 76 miles) that it became just a teaser instead of a full professional day in the saddle. On Wednesday the excitement was crushed when Mt. Hamilton near San Jose is strangely only 82 miles.

TOC happens to be the biggest event on the states calendar and on the international cycling stage. The vent is supposed to be nine days long but shortened to eight days only.
