Obama Commits to Fix the Economy’s Current Conditions
President Barak Obama has announced action for voter’s concerns about how to handle the struggling economy. The President announced at a meeting on Saturday that he will focus on steps to ensure hiring more people in a short term.
Obama expressed that he is committed to reducing the unemployment rate in the country and stated that there are sign that recovery is on its way.
However, Republicans have criticized Obama for overspending and overregulation in order to obstruct economic growth.
At a meeting last weekend, plans were made to expand Skills for American’s Future- a program launched a year ago. One of the plans is to provide 500,000 community college students industry-recognized credentials to help them find proper jobs.
Though there is no ‘quick fix’ to the country’s economical problem and the President realizes this, as he announced that the US will not “get out of it overnight”. That is why it is going to be Obama’s main priority in order to find the solutions that will help fix the economy.
Obama spoke at the meeting last week stating: “In the end, the folks I hear from in letters or meet when I travel across the country – they aren’t asking for much. They’re just looking for a job that covers their bills. They’re just looking for a little financial security. They want to know that if they work hard and live within their means, everything will be all right”.
